Although the Center for Implant & Esthetic Dentistry focuses on providing our patients with the latest, state of the art advancements in restorative dentistry, we are also committed to doing our part to preserve the environment. For this reason, we have just completed a total redesign of our space incorporating energy and water saving equipment used daily in our dental office. In addition, being completely paperless enables us to save some trees while reducing our footprint by filing insurance claim forms electronically (paperless). This in return also happens to create a faster turn-a-round response from insurance companies for our patients.
Digital X-ray Technology
Center for Implant & Esthetic Dentistry is dedicated to providing the latest state of the art technology that will enhance the patient’s dental treatment as well as their overall well-being. This includes digital x-ray technology instead of the traditional film processing x-rays. There are many benefits to using digital dental radiographs. When the digital x-ray image is exposed, it can be sent directly to a computer and viewed with the patient right away without having to go through the developing process. Digital radiology can be enlarged on the computer screen making it easier to assess the areas in question during a dental consultation and can often be corrected without having another x-ray exposure. Multiple copies of the same x-ray can be made by the dental office and sent to other specialists within a matter of minutes. They can also be sent electronically to insurance companies, which may help claims get processed faster. Center for Implant & Esthetic Dentistry prides itself on being an environmentally friendly dental office. For the patient, digital x-ray images require less radiation. Environmentally, digital x-rays are eco-friendly by eliminating the need for film and film processing chemicals.
