Reclaiming Your Confidence and Oral Health Through Complete Full Mouth Reconstruction

Teeth you don’t love can make you want to hide your smile. At the Center for Implant & Esthetic Dentistry in Beverly Hills, California, we understand how dental issues affect your daily life.

Ramin Mahallati, DDS, and our team specialize in restoring both function and beauty to your smile.

If you struggle with extensive dental damage, full mouth reconstruction offers a great way to rebuild your oral health. This personalized treatment plan combines multiple restorative procedures to give you a healthy bite.

How does rebuilding your smile improve your well-being?

A damaged smile makes chewing difficult and can even impact your mental health and social confidence.

In a 2025 study in BMC Oral Health of 103 United States adults undergoing full-mouth surgical rehabilitation, depression scores dropped significantly.

At our Beverly Hills office, we see this transformation firsthand. We design your treatment to relieve chronic discomfort and restore your self-esteem.

Should you choose natural teeth or dental implants?

Many people assume that extracting all remaining teeth for implants is the only option. However, that is not true. In fact, preserving your natural teeth is often the best course of treatment.

A 2023 study in Medicina evaluated 98 adults with severe gum disease who received cross-arch bridges. Over an average of 16.1 years, these supporting teeth had a low failure rate of 8.8%. In contrast, unsupported teeth in the same arch had a 34.4% failure rate.

The same journal noted that technical complications affected 8% of tooth-supported bridges over 7.2 years. By comparison, complications affected 42% of implant structures over a 2.6-year period.

We carefully evaluate your jawbone and remaining teeth to find the safest approach. When implants are necessary, we offer advanced dental implants to replace missing teeth.

What should you expect during your recovery and maintenance?

A full mouth reconstruction requires a commitment to ongoing care. Even with advanced restorations, your new smile needs regular professional attention to stay healthy.

For example, dental implants are still vulnerable to gum and bone infections. A 2021 study in BMC Oral Health evaluated 24 older patients with full-arch implant restorations. Among these patients, 41.7% developed a bone-dissolving infection called peri-implantitis around at least one implant.

To protect your investment, we provide comprehensive preventive dentistry and personalized hygiene plans. Our team works closely with you to monitor your restorations and keep your gums healthy.

Your journey to a healthier smile starts with a personalized consultation. To discuss your options for full-mouth reconstruction, schedule a visit with our Beverly Hills team today.
